CSPH5101: Overview of Whole Health Models of Care & Integrative Practices

3 Credits

This course explores models of whole health, integrative care, and complementary healing practices. It provides an overview of licensed integrative practitioners, their role and scope of practice, as well as the evidence base for these practices. The course will cover theoretical framework, safety, efficacy, and evidence for various therapies and practices. Access to care and models that promote inclusive and equitable access will be examined. Finally, the course promotes personal and professional reflection on whole health. The online version of this course is an approved 1Health Interprofessional Education (IPE) activity. prereq: Jr or sr or grad student; or instructor consent
